The lights are using Hydrogen Technology. The ornaments are made my residents of the State Development Centers. Some of them get to travel to Sacramento for the tree lighting.

It is very pretty in person. While I hate the trip up to Sacaramento. I try and think of all the things I've seen that I normally wouldn't get to experience.
