The Days March On

It is always amazing how time passes.

My online friends sent me a lovely basket of fruit and teas when my Father died. It had a teapot in it.

The bottom of the teapot says Mother's Day 2008. My Mother's last Mothers Day. I've been making tea in it the whole month.

What a wonderful way to remember my Mother.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Today is my Father's 89th Birthday. I'm sure he and my Mother are having a great celebration in heaven.

Yesterday was the Promotional Ceremony for the San Francisco Fire Department.

This is my Brother Brendan McGorrin and Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White.

We are all very proud of my Brother.

Easter

Hope everyone had a nice Easter.

We went out for Brunch. It was a very nice day.

Scarf Exchange

Last Month was the end of the scarf exchage on Knit&Chat.

I knit my partner a Clapotis.

I do love that pattern.

I used Knit Picks yarn.

Tea Exchange

I recieved this lovely package of tea the other day.

I love exchanges.

Now to get out and buy tea to send off to my exchange partner.

I got a cute bag that carries my knitting

A pink needle sizer. It is so compact that it fits in all my knitting bags.

Glass Stitch Markers. They are so pretty.

I'm getting plenty of use from each of these items.

My Daughters and I went to Stitches West yesterday. We had a good time and were glad it did not rain.
