I'm still here

I've been busy. I'll come back later to post some pictures of what I've been doing.
If I don't make it back before the week is over Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Sunday Streets cont....

I do love the different lakes in Golden Gate Park. Here are just 2 of them. Spreckles Lake and Lloyds Lake.

Sunday Streets continued

Wouldn't you love to commute on this thing? The cycling not only moves this forward it also powers a music player. Everyone that was on this looked like they were having fun.

It was great to see the Murphy Windmill working.

Sunday Streets

Yesterday was Sunday Streets in the Sunset/Richmond Districts in San Francisco. It was tons of fun. We walked along Upper Great Highway in the fog. Thru Golden Gate Park to the Academy of Sciences. The sun came out during our walk so we have a little bit of sunburn. We ate at the De Young's restaurant. Then had fun in the gift shop.

We walked about 6.5 miles. I knew it was far but I didn't realize how far it was.

Vacation

Yea, I'm on vacation.

The Weather

I'm watching the news and seeing all these temps over 100. Here at Ocean Beach we are lucky if we hit 60. Don't get me wrong I am not complaing but it would be nice to see the sun once in awhile.

The Days March On

It is always amazing how time passes.

My online friends sent me a lovely basket of fruit and teas when my Father died. It had a teapot in it.

The bottom of the teapot says Mother's Day 2008. My Mother's last Mothers Day. I've been making tea in it the whole month.

What a wonderful way to remember my Mother.
