On May 26 , 2008 my Mother died. I am so very sad. It was the right time for her and we were lucky to be able to spend the weekend with her. We all had the chance to tell her that we loved her and would miss her and would take care of everyone. Her memorial service is Wednesday May 28 at 2 pm. Think of our family
I just can't seem to knit right now. I'm not sure if it is because I felt awful last week with our heat wave or because I am just supper supper tired. I really would like to finish the cap shawl. It looks nice even though I don't have much finished on it yet. I would like to see how the next section will look.
I ordered my computer on Monday. I just tracked it. It left San Diego today. Wonder how long will it take to get here? I hope it arrives on Friday. I'm off this weekend. It would be great to have a whole weekend to play with it.
I'm making the Cap Shawl from Victorian Lace today. It is a lovely pattern. I'm on row 48 of a million rows. Looking at it on the needles I can't decide if I like it or not. I'll try and take a picture tomorrow and then decide if I should rip back to the beginning and start all over again.
I finished my Jacobean socks in April. I have a picture up on my flickr page. I'll try and post a picture here eventually. Now I'm back working on my Cap Shawl. Would be nice if I could get some work done on it this week.
